    Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) released its second-quarter report for FY 2080/2081, revealing a 21.55% decline in net profit. The net profit dropped to Rs. 43.62 crore from Rs. 55.60 crore in the same quarter last year. Additionally, the company’s borrowings decreased by 22.81% to Rs. 3.51 Arba compared to Rs. 4.55 Arba in the previous year’s quarter. On the other hand, deposits saw a 3.82% increase, reaching Rs. 31.88 Arba.

    Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) has recently issued a notice directed at its shareholders who have not yet received their rightful dividend payments. It has come to the company’s attention that even after a span of five years since the initial dividend distribution, some shareholders have not collected the dividends owed to them. To address this matter, CBBL is urging these investors to take action.

    To claim their outstanding dividends, shareholders who have not yet done so are required to present their share certificates and provide proof of their identity to the company’s share department. Additionally, they should submit copies of any necessary supporting documents. This procedure is essential for the shareholders to access their overdue dividend payments.

    Failing to comply with this request and neglecting to claim the dividends within the stipulated timeframe may result in legal consequences. In accordance with section 183 of the Companies Act, 2063, any uncollected dividends will be placed into the “Investor Protection Fund.” Therefore, it is in the best interest of the shareholders to promptly follow the outlined process and ensure they receive the dividends rightfully owed to them.

    Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 25.26% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. As per the report published by the mChhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) reported an 11.56% increase in Net Profit in the second quarter of FY 2079/2080. According to the microfinance company’s report, net profit increased to Rs. 55.60 crore from Rs. 49.84 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The company’s borrowings fell by 2.69% to Rs. 4.64 Arba from Rs. 4.77 Arba in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The company’s deposits increased by 9.41% to Rs 29.56 Arba. In this quarter, the company’s loans and advances increased by only 1.39% to 33.53 Arba.icro finance company, the net profit increased to Rs. 55.60 Crores as compared to Rs. 49.84 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
