NEPSE has changed its API authentication method as of 15 Feb, 2023 (solution posted on GitHub)
A year ago or so, I posted a solution to access nepse API on this sub Reddit. It seems that nepse has pushed some breaking changes in its client side token modifier code making the previous solution not working.
I think some people out here were using it to access the API. I am posting it here so that they can continue doing what they were doing.
This time I used a WASM parser “pywasm” to parse css.wasm file (check nepse website, if you don’t know where this file is) so the solution won’t appear too cryptic.

Chirkhwa Hydro Power Limited is set to release 859,300 IPO shares with a face value of Rs. 100 starting on the 23rd of Ashwin, 2080. The IPO offer will close on the 26th of Ashwin, and if it isn’t fully subscribed, it can be extended until the 3rd of Kartik, 2080.
Previously, the company allocated 400,000 shares to locals affected by the project in Bhojpur District, but only 204,700 shares were distributed to eligible applicants. Consequently, the remaining 195,300 shares from these project-affected locals are combined with 800,000 shares (reserved for the general public, which is 20% of the total issued capital) to create a total of 995,300 shares available for the general public.

So, Nepal Government owns 58.66 %, NRB owns 14.60 %, Sanchay Kosh owns 10% , some banks and other institutions own the rest. What does this mean ? How can someone / some organization own a part of the stock exchange ?
