    Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme, has released its monthly report for Chaitra 2079.

    According to the report, a mutual fund’s Net Assets Value (NAV) fell slightly from Rs. 9.18 to Rs. 9.19. The program, which began with a sum of Rs. 82 crores, has invested Rs. 48.38 crores in listed company shares and Rs. 4.91 crores in non-listed company shares. This program invested Rs. 3 crores in fixed-income assets, Rs. 15.86 crores in debentures, and Rs. 3.4 crores in bank balance.

    The NEPSE has listed 16,53,699.96 unit bonus shares of Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited (SIC).

    On 11th Falgun, the firm held its 26th AGM and approved a 13.0579% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors resolved to distribute 12.40% bonus shares and 0.6526% cash dividend on Rs. 1.33 Arba paid-up capital. NEPSE now lists the same bonus shares.

    Similarly, Lumbini General Insurance Company Limited (LGIL) has 9,17,644.50 unit bonus shares listed on NEPSE.

    On 11th Falgun, the business had its 18th AGM and approved a 6.99% bonus share worth Rs. 9.17 crore and a 0.3679% cash dividend worth Rs. 48.29 crore on a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.31 Arba for the fiscal year 2078/79.

    The NEPSE index closed at 1,888.32 today, up 2.71 points from the previous trading day’s close. This represents a 0.14% increase. Yesterday, the index fell 18.80 points.

    Today, the index opened at 1,885.77 and closed at 1,875.14. In contrast, it reached a high of 1,891.87 before settling at 1,888.32.

    Citizens Capital Limited has extended the deadline for the general public to invest in the mutual fund scheme “Citizens Super 30 Mutual Fund” until the 20th Baisakh, 2080. The problem began on the 6th of Baisakh and was intended to end today, the 10th of Baisakh, 2080. However, because the problem manager did not get a sufficient number of applications, the deadline has been extended until Baisakh 20.

    Himalayan Stock Exchange” has applied for a license to the Nepal Securities Board for a new stock exchange. The application has been filed by Himalayan Stock Exchange, which has been established with the participation of prominent business families in Nepal, including Shankar Group, along with the largest industrial houses in Nepal such as Shekhar Golchha of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former presidents of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Pashupati Murarka, Rajendra Khetan of Khetan Group, Satish Lal Mor of Lucky Group, Vivek Dugar of Dugar Group, Shourabh Jyoti of Jyoti Group and other major traders and business houses. This is the first application for a stock exchange license by Himalayan Stock Exchange.

    The application has been filed by Himalayan Stock Exchange, along with investment from Rohit Gupta, Ashish Shrestha, Juni Gurung, and Deepak Bhatta.

    The deadline for applying for a license for the commodity exchange (Commodity Exchange) along with the stock exchange is until 10th Baisakh, 2079 (April 22, 2023). So far, only one application has been submitted under the name of Himalayan Stock Exchange.

    Similarly, there has been no application filed until Friday for the commodity exchange. The applications for the stock and commodity exchanges are separate.

    This week, the index reached a high of 1,944.58 and a low of 1893.33, resulting in a 51.25 point volatility. The prior week’s volatility on the index was 148.11 points.
    The largest intraday loss was 23.63 points on Monday with a transaction of Rs 0.92 Arba, however the overall turnover for the week was Rs 4.62 Arba.

    The dividend percentage for the fiscal year 2078/79 has been changed from 73.68% to 17.93% by Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO).

    On Chaitra 09, the board of directors resolved to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 25.50 crores. There was a proposal for 50% bonus shares worth Rs. 12.75 crores and a cash dividend of 23.68% worth Rs. 6.03 crores.

    The dividend was only to be issued following clearance from Nepal Rastra Bank and approval from the company’s upcoming AGM. According to the NRB’s recommendations, the corporation has increased the dividend from Rs. 25.50 crores to a maximum of 17.93%.
