    Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) intends to give its shareholders 100% rights shares.

    The board of directors proposed at its meeting on Baisakh 06 to issue right shares in the ratio of 1:1, i.e. 18,679,626 right shares of Rs. 100 par value worth Rs 1.86 arba, so that the company can invest 50% of the issued right share amount, i.e. 93,39,813 unit right shares worth Rs 93.39 crore, in the Likhu Khola Hydropower Project (30 M.W.) promoted by PK Hydropower Pvt. The remaining 93,39,813 unit shares, valued at Rs 93.39 crore, will be utilized to repay the company’s loan for the Kabeli ‘B’-1 Cascade Hydropower Project in Panchthar.

    The Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) has approved Ridi Power Company (RIDI) to issue a 1: 0.50 right offering.

    The board of directors suggested on the 4th of Magh, 2079, to issue 50% right shares on the paid-up capital after adjusting 40% bonus shares for the fiscal year 2078/79, i.e. Rs. 1,54,89,01,200. The company’s paid-up capital will grow to Rs. 2.32 Arba following the adjustment of the proposed right share, i.e. 77,44,506 units.     The dividend percentage for the fiscal year 2078/79 has been changed from 73.68% to 17.93% by Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO).

    On Chaitra 09, the board of directors resolved to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 25.50 crores. There was a proposal for 50% bonus shares worth Rs. 12.75 crores and a cash dividend of 23.68% worth Rs. 6.03 crores.

    The dividend was only to be issued following clearance from Nepal Rastra Bank and approval from the company’s upcoming AGM. According to the NRB’s recommendations, the corporation has increased the dividend from Rs. 25.50 crores to a maximum of 17.93%.

    Dolti Power Company Limited concluded its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 12,71,861 unit shares to the general public today, March 3, 2080. The issue debuted on Chaitra 28th, 2079. This IPO is expected to generate Rs 13.46 crore for the firm.

    Previously, the business awarded 536,486 unit shares worth Rs. 5.36 crores to project-affected residents of Dailekh District, with just 141,820 units allocated to legitimate applicants.
