    Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLICL) is preparing to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) with a premium starting on the 15th of Bhadra. In this offering, the company plans to make shares available to the public at a base value of Rs 100 per share, with an additional premium of Rs 144, making the total cost per share Rs 244.

    The insurance company has received approval to issue 1,12,50,000 shares, which are valued at 1.125 billion rupees. This issuance constitutes 30% of its total issued capital of 3.75 billion rupees. Notably, a portion of these shares, amounting to 5%, has already been distributed. This initial portion consists of 562,500 shares, valued at 5 crore 62 lakh 50 thousand rupees, and was offered at the rate of 100 rupees per share exclusively for the company’s employees.

However, Nepal Rastra Bank later approved a dividend of 17.9342% on Baisakh 04, 2080.

    Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) has announced that today is the final day for shareholders to avail the proposed dividend. The company has scheduled its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to take place on 4th Ashad, 2080. The AGM will be held at The SR Hotel in Tilottama Municipality -01, Drivertole, Rupandehi, starting from 9 AM on that day.

    One of the key agendas of the AGM is to approve a dividend of 15% for the fiscal year 2078/79. The decision to distribute the dividend is based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 16 Crores. It has been proposed to distribute a cash dividend of 0.75%, amounting to Rs. 12 lakhs, and a bonus share dividend of 14.25%, worth Rs. 2.28 crores.

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Cancels Dividend Proposal of Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RULB)

    The dividend proposal put forth by Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RULB) has been canceled by the Nepal Rastra Bank. During the 86th meeting of the board of directors held on Baisakh 13, the company had proposed a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79 based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 26 Crores. The proposal included the distribution of 14.25% bonus shares valued at Rs. 3.7 crores and a cash dividend of 0.75% amounting to Rs. 19.50 lakhs.

    However, as per a notice from the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the dividend proposal required approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), which has now been canceled due to non-compliance with the Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) in the financial statement.

    Furthermore, a letter regarding the company’s annual general meeting was sent to the NRB on Baisakh 20, but the proposed dividend was not included in the letter. As a result, the dividend proposal has been rejected by the NRB.

    Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RULB) has proposed a 15% dividend worth Rs. 3.9 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79. This marks the company’s first dividend after being listed in NEPSE. The board of directors decided in its 86th meeting on Baisakh 13 to distribute 14.25% bonus shares and 0.75% cash dividend (including the amount for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital of Rs. 26 Crores. The bonus shares are valued at Rs. 3.7 crores, and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 19.50 lakhs. However, the dividend will only be distributed after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming AGM. RULB’s last-day close stands at Rs. 622.80 at the time of writing.

    Previously, from the paid-up capital of Rs. 13.20 crores, 10% bonus shares worth Rs. 1.32 crores and 11.05263% cash dividend (tax purposes) worth Rs. 1.45 crores were proposed.
