SEBON Approves Mahalaxmi Debenture 2089 at 11%

On Chaitra 05, 2079, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) authorized the “11% Mahalaxmi Debenture 2089.”

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) plans to issue 10 lakh unit debentures at Rs 1000 per unit. During a period of ten years, the bank will give an interest rate of 11% on the debenture.

Out of the total number of units given, 4 lakh will be made available to the general public and 6 lakh would be made available for private placement.

The issue manager is NIC Asia Capital. The offering would generate a total of Rs 1 Arba.

Siddhartha Bank’s Promoter Shares will being auctioned off starting today.

From today, 14th Chaitra, 2079, the promoter shareholder of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) is auctioning 114,813 units of shares to existing promoter owners.

SBL unit promoter shares worth 114,813 will be auctioned off. Only existing promoters are entitled to bid on the auction within 35 days after its publication, on the 14th Chaitra. Shareholders should submit their bids to the bank’s headquarters office in Hattisar, Kathmandu.

If no offers are received from existing founding owners by the deadline, the shares will be auctioned off to the general public.

Chhimek Laghubitta (CBBL) will pay a cash dividend of 3.26% to shareholders’ bank accounts.

From today (14th Chaitra), Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) is delivering 3.26% cash dividends straight to its shareholders’ bank accounts and has asked them to dematerialize their shares.

On Chaitra 10, 2079, the firm had its 21st AGM for the fiscal year 2078/79. The board of directors approved a 25.26% dividend for fiscal year 2078/79. The 282nd meeting of the board of directors, held on Poush 27, resolved to give a dividend of Rs. 2.32 Arba on the paid-up capital. There was a proposal for 22% bonus shares worth Rs 51.13 crores and a 3.26% cash dividend (including tax) of Rs 7.57 crore. The same cash dividend is now paid out.

Furthermore, the corporation has asked owners to dematerialize their shares if their bank information has not been updated.

Today’s gold price in Nepal has dropped by Rs 1000 per tola.

Today’s gold price has dropped by Rs. 1000 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association’s official website, fine gold is now trading at Rs. 108,000 per tola. Yesterday, the tariff remained unchanged at Rs. 109,000 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is currently trading at Rs. 107,500. In contrast, the cost was kept at Rs. 108,500 per tola yesterday.

Silver has lost Rs. 5 per tola on the sidelines. The gleaming white gold is now trading in the local market at Rs. 1,355 per tola, down from yesterday’s closing cost of Rs. 1,360 per tola.

NEPSE rises into the double digits with a volume of Rs 1.443 Arba.

The NEPSE index finished at 1,918.10 today, up 12.10 points from the previous trading day’s close. This is a 0.63% increase. Yesterday, the index rose 17.70 points.

The index began today at 1,910.35 and reached an intraday high of 1,906.40. In comparison, it dropped as low as 1,936.48 before closing at 1,918.10.

In 35,926 transactions, 258 scrips changed hands. A total of 4,077,778 shares were traded, totaling Rs. 1.443 Arba in turnover. This is more than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 1.38 Arba.
