UNINATIONAL SAHAKARYA LAGHUBITTA BITTIYA SANTHA LTD. (USLB) has revised its dividend proposal.
For the fiscal year 2077/78, the business had previously recommended a dividend of 32 percent. According to a notice published in the NEPSE, the microfinance company sought to pay the entire dividend in bonus shares rather than cash. As a result of the dividend being issued on the paid-up capital of Rs. 17,61,69,706.38, the bonus shares were valued little more than Rs. 5.63 crores at the time of the distribution.
The resolution made by the 173rd Board of Directors meeting of the microfinance organization, however, was subject to approval by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The central bank then instructed the business to alter its dividend proposal, which the company promptly did. As a result, the company has altered its proposal to only distribute 30 percent bonus shares on the firm’s paid-up capital of Rs. 17,61,69,706.38, which is now Rs. 17,61,69,706.38.
Last week, the USLB closed at Rs. 2,270 a share.
