On Poush 22, NMB Bank Limited (NMB) will hold its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Tribhuvan Army Officers Club in Tundikhel, Kathmandu.

The AGM will approve a 15.8% dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, among other items on the agenda. On Kartik 12, the 427th meeting of the board of directors resolved to disburse the dividend on the Rs. 16.32 Arba paid-up capital. There has been a proposal for 12.5 percent bonus shares worth Rs 2.04 Arba and a 3.3 percent cash dividend (including bonus shares tax) worth Rs 53.87 crore.

There is also a discussion about increasing the company’s existing issued capital to Rs. 18.36 Arba on the agenda.

The book will closed on the 7th of Poush. As a result, shareholders who held their shares until now are entitled to the dividend payment and are welcome to attend the AGM. Yesterday, NMB’s ordinary shares closed at Rs. 368.

On Poush 17, Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) will hold its 5th Annual General Meeting. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. in the White House Party Palace in Tanahun.

The AGM will vote on the proposed 20% dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, among other items on the agenda. The board of directors voted to distribute 19 percent bonus shares and 1% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital at its 87th meeting on Kartik 10. Because the company’s paid-up capital is Rs. 12.73 crores, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 2.41 crores, and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 12.73 lakhs.

In addition, the AGM will elect board members from among the promoters and public shareholders, as well as approve the appointment of an independent director.

The AGM will approve a 30% dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, among other items on the agenda. On Mangsir 01, the board of directors decided to pay a dividend of Rs. 1.83 Arba on the paid-up capital of the company. There has been a proposal for a 27 percent bonus share and a 3% cash dividend (for tax reasons). As a result, the bonus shares are valued slightly more than Rs. 49.41 crores, while the cash dividend is worth slightly more than Rs. 5.49 crores.

The book will closed on the 7th of Poush. As a result, shareholders who held shares prior to that date are entitled to the dividend payment and are welcome to attend the AGM.

The AGM will approve the 5.31 percent dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, among other items on the agenda. The board of directors voted to issue the dividend on the Rs. 9.49 Arba paid-up capital at their meeting on Mangsir. Bonus shares at 3.50 percent and cash dividends worth 1.81 percent (including cash for tax purposes) been suggested.

The public shareholders will also elect a board member at this AGM.
