‘Nepal’s sports sector has not yet reached a high level of development. On the international scene, we are seeing the success of the Nepali squad. As a major business company, we recognise the value of corporate social responsibility and have made an investment in the top league in Nepal to help develop the abilities of Nepali cricketers, according to Sandeep Agrawal, Director of the Shiv Shakti Group of Companies.
Additionally, Sanjay Agrawal, Chairman of Tele Holdings, the primary sponsor of Kathmandu Kings 11, stated that this will help to raise the team’s spirits even more.
Shahid Afridi, the former captain of the Pakistan national side, Nepalese famous leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, Subash Khakurel, and Sher Malla are among the players representing Kathmandu Kings 11 in this year’s EPL competition.
Sandeep will serve as the captain of Kathmandu. The EPL will begin on September 25 at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur and will run for eight weeks.
