The price of gold has dropped by Rs 700 per tola.


On Sunday, the price of gold in the Nepali market fell by Rs 700 per tola, a significant decrease. The price of yellow metal in the domestic market has been set Rs 93,700 a tola at the time of writing.

On Saturday, gold was trading Rs 94,400 per tola in the Indian market. As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold on Sunday will be Rs 93,200 per tola, from the previous day’s price of Rs 93,900 per tola.

According the Federation, the price of silver has by Rs 15 per tola, bringing it down Rs 1,260 per tola. According to the Federation, the price of gold and silver in Nepal is fixed the same level as the transaction price on the worldwide gold market.

In a similar vein, gold is trading roughly $1,846 per ounce on the international markets.
