The NEPSE is down 18.54 points, and intraday turnover is down as well; all sectors conclude the day in the negative.
Following a loss of 18.54 points from yesterday’s closing price, the NEPSE index finished at 2,929.28 today. The index had only gained a minuscule 0.27 points the day before.
The index began the day at 2,950.36 and reached an intraday high of 2,963.65 points. Although it fell as low as 2,916.77, the stock eventually finished at 2,929.28 dollars.
The total number of shares traded was 10,639,826 with a total value of Rs. 5.195 Arba in the entire turnover amount. This represents a decrease from the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 9.29 Arba. 59,854 transactions resulted in the exchange of 222 scrips.
The Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the greatest turnover with Rs. 27.03 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 695 per share. The company had the highest turnover with Rs. 27.03 crores. Its stock was also the most actively traded.
Today, two scrips have crossed the threshold of the positive ten percent circuit. Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL), on the other hand, suffered the worst loss, falling by 5.56 percent.
All sectors have lost today. Non-Life Insurance lost the most 2.04%.
