The NEPSE Index rose 3.19 percent for the day, according to the daily market summary.


The NEPSE index finished the day at 2,507.70, up 92.16 points from yesterday’s close. This is a 3.82 percent increase in the index. Yesterday, the index rose 56.73 points.

There 55,997 transactions involving 233 scrips. The Float index is now at 172.29, up 3.79 percent, while the Sensitive index is at 477.26, up 3.19 percent.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover at Rs. 68.34 crores, closing at Rs. 7,000 per share on the market. The most active stock was Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL).




Four scrips acquired the highest 10% and tripped the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, the 8% Nabil Debenture 2085 (NBLD85) dropped the most, falling 4.59 percent to Rs. 935.

Today’s indices gained all sectors. The sector “Trading” benefited the most, an increase of 8.23%.

Highlights from the Technical Analysis

The index began trading at 2,425.05 and did not fall below that level. The index then finished at 2,507.70, its intraday high. This had happened the day before. At least for the day, the index not trading lower than the market open and ending at the intraday high is a sign of positive optimism.

A total of 8,104,319 shares changed hands in the turnover amount, totaling Rs. 4.523 Arba. This is greater than the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 2.383 Arba, indicating a positive trend.

The RSI (Relative Strength Index) is currently at 47.89. Yesterday’s reading was 39.20. Breaking over 50 on the RSI would imply intermediate-term positive momentum. Meanwhile, the MACD reading at -78.04, both the MACD line and the signal line are negative, i.e. below zero. Yesterday, this reading was -90.13. It’s worth noting that the MACD line has crossed over the signal line, indicating a bullish bias.

The green candle that developed today is larger than the previous one, owing to more market involvement. Furthermore, the candle opened higher than the close of the preceding candle, indicating a favorable signal. The index has already recovered 10.88 percent from its most recent pivot low as a result of this.
