The NEPSE index rises by 1.89 points to close at 2,735 points.


Following a rise of 1.89 points from yesterday’s closing price, the NEPSE index closed at 2,735.00 points today. Yesterday, the index had dropped by 32.31 points.

The index began the day at 2,737.09 and reached an intraday low of 2,694.62 by the end of the day. though it reached a high of 2,742.35, it ultimately ended up at 2,735.

A total of 7,445,227 shares were traded, resulting in a turnover amount of Rs. 4.217 Arba (Rs. 4.217 Arba per share). This represents an increase above the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 4.165 Arba. A total of 54,703 trades took place involving 227 scrips.

Among the with the highest turnover, Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 26.15 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 1465 per share. The most traded were those of Api Power Company Limited (API).




MMailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) was the company with the most increase, gaining 9.47 percent. Meanwhile, Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) suffered the most loss, falling 2.55 percent.







Three sectors suffered losses, while 10 others finished in the black. “Trading” suffered the greatest loss (1.28 percent), while “Finance” experienced the greatest gain (1.31 percent).
