    This morning’s closing price of the NEPSE index was 2,765.43, an increase of 7.9 points from yesterday’s closing price. The index had dropped 11.60 points the day before.

    The index began trading at 2,758.98 and has not moved lower since. Although it reached a high of 2,777.86, it ultimately finished at 2,765.43 per share.

    A total of 7,565,510 shares were exchanged, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 3.929 Arba (Rs. 3.929 Arba per share). This represents a from the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 4.357 Arba. A total of 51,526 transactions took place involving 225 scrips.

    Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the largest turnover at Rs. 34.41 crores, and the stock closed at Rs. 740 per share, the highest in the market. The most actively traded units were those of the Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1).

    A 10 percent gain for Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) put the company track to strike the positive circuit breaker. While this was going on, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) suffered the most loss, dropping 4.14 percent.







    Five sectors suffered losses, while the others finished in the green. The finance industry suffered the most, losing 0.88 percent. The most significant increase was seen in the Hotels and Tourism sector, which climbed 4.51 percent.
