The index began the day at 2,616.78 and dropped to 2,579.82 at the end of the day. However, the index continued to advance from there, reaching an intraday high of 2,665.93 before closing the day at 2,665.93.
A total of 9,894,478 shares were exchanged for a total of Rs. 5.028 Arba, representing a turnover of Rs. 5.028 Arba. Compared to the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 5.745 Arba, this represents a decrease in value. In total, 63,916 transactions were made involving 229 scrips.
Api Power Company Limited (API) had the most turnover with a total of Rs. 22.67 crores, with the stock ending at Rs. 459.80 a share, the highest in the industry. Its stock was also the most actively traded on the market.
