    The Welfare Fund and Rastriya Banijaya Bank have signed an under which the bank will give cheap housing loans to the fund’s participants.

    In a signing ceremony, Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha, CEO of the bank, and Colonel Anand Kumar Adhikary, Director-General of the Army Welfare Directorate, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

    According to the media statement, army officials who have served the for a minimum of ten years are now to apply for affordable home loans of up to Rs 25 lakh from the bank at a competitive rate of 3.32 percent for a maximum of 15 years with one grace year for the construction of their home or the purchase of their residence.

    With 256 branches, 218 ATM locations, and 98 branchless banking units currently operating within its network, the bank has grown significantly in recent years.
