It has been agreed that Nabil Bank will act as “Official Banking Partner” for the “18th Handicraft Trade Fair & 16th Craft Competition,” which will take place from November 19th to November 21st, 2021, at the Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu, on behalf of the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN).
Among those who witnessed the signing of the collaboration agreement were Mr. Niraj Basnet Danil, Nabil Bank’s Head-SME & Microfinance, and Mr. Tarak Thapa, Director-General of the Federation of Nepalese Associations (FHAN).
This collaboration between Nabil Bank and FHAN, which is a continuation of their connection, has entered its third series of partnerships in a similar annual event, which is also in keeping with the bank’s goals of supporting “Made in Nepal” products and its vision of sustainable banking. This relationship illustrates the bank’s commitment to serving as a supportive bank for the development of Nepal’s handicraft industry.
“Nabil Bank is pleased to have been the ‘Official Banking Partner of Handicraft Trade Fair & Craft Competition’ for the past three years, which has promoted a diverse range of handicraft businesses under one roof,” said Niraj Basnet Danil, Head of SME and MF at Nabil Bank, in response to the partnership. By providing easy access to financing and ensuring the retention of qualified employees in their jobs, the Bank wants to assist handicraft firms that have been hit by the pandemic in restarting their operations in the coming year.
