The initiative focuses on addressing the difficulties of traders and manufacturers.


In a recent interview, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Senior Vice-President the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), stated that in his capacity as the umbrella organisation for all of the country’s traders, entrepreneurs, and industrialists, the FNCCI was steps to address the issues facing the sector.

The Urlabari Chamber Commerce and Industry (UCCI), Morang, inaugurated its 33rd general meeting on Monday. He stated that the Federation was working towards the announcement of a relief package by the government for the of the trade and industry sector, which had been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also reaffirmed that the FNCCI has been working tirelessly on behalf the wider interests of the whole business community, especially women entrepreneurs, over the past few years.

On this occasion, five prominent Urlabari businessmen and a journalist were recognised for their achievements. The AGM will be the occasion for the election new leadership. Pritam Khadgi, the president of the Urlabari Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced that an election is being held for 16 different positions, with 33 people running for election. UCCI has a total of 1702 members.
