For fiscal year 2077/78, Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) has proposed a 20% dividend. This is the first time the corporation has paid a dividend.
The board of directors voted to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 10 crores at their 142nd meeting on Mangsir 26. The proposal is for 19 percent bonus shares worth Rs 1.9 crores and a 1% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs 10 lakhs.
The dividend will be paid only if the central bank has approved it and the company’s future AGM has approved it. Adhikhola Laghuubitta Bittiya Sanstha has signed a merger agreement with Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and AKBSL trade has been suspended since Poush 3, 2076. AKBSL ended the day with an LTP of Rs. 465.
