    Seven construction companies have been placed on the Public Procurement Monitoring Office’s blacklist.

    The Office issued a notice advising the companies that they had been banned failing to projects according to contract.

    They have been placed on a one- to -year ban, which begins today, according to the notice. Section 65 of the Public Procurement Act of 2063 was used to make the decision.

    According to the Road Department Project Directorate, Bishalnaghar, MS Indo Engineering Project Corporation of Maharastra, India, has been blacklisted years.

    Similarly, Land Ring Construction Service in Kathmandu has been blacklisted two years on the request of Nagarjun Municipality.

    The following companies have been blacklisted a year: Bipin Vet Centre, Kashyapati Construction Service, Rachana Trade International, Ninlantha Construction Service and Suppliers, and Adventure the Anand.

    Companies on the government’s blacklist would be from government contracts and construction projects.
