Remittance inflow up by 19% in past 10 months

In the last ten months, Nepal has received Rs 809.89 billion in remittances sent by the country’s migrant workers living in various nations around the world (mid-July 2020 till mid-May 2021).

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, which released information of the country’s financial situation as of the end of the first ten months of the fiscal year, the country’s remittance earnings in the time are 19.2 percent more than the remittance earnings in the same time last fiscal year.

The amount had decreased in the year, possibly because to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the continuation of the crisis, the country had an amazing surge this year.
