PM Deuba is in eastern Nepal, where he is visiting disaster-stricken communities.


He is currently visiting the disaster-stricken districts of eastern Nepal, to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

In accordance with the PM’s instructions, Deuba will pay a visit to the districts of Sunsari, Morang, Ilam and Panchthar, which have severely hit by recent rains, landslides, and flooding. Prime Minister Deuba will visit all four districts to assess the damage, talk with survivors, and gather information on the current in the impacted districts.After completing the preliminary assessment, he will return to the capital in the late afternoon or early evening.
An interdisciplinary team led by the prime minister, which included Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale, and Nepali Congress central members NP Saud, Ramesh Lekhak, and Bir Bahadur Blair, visited flood- and landslide-affected districts in the far western on Thursday and Friday, to the government.
