On Thursday, the penultimate trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) gained by 16.41 points.
With today’s increase, the index now stands at 3179.00 points.
Today, 36.60 million shares of 225 companies were exchanged, resulting in a total turnover of 17.51 billion.
The banking index has risen by 9 points, while the Development Bank index has risen by 344 points, Finance by 32 points, Manufacturing by 99 points, Life Insurance by 31 points, and Investment Group by nearly two points.
Today, however, the Hydropower, Hotel, Trade, Others, Non-Life Insurance, and Microfinance Group indexes fell.
Mahalakshmi Development Bank, Kamana Sewa Development Bank, Shine Resunga Development Bank, Union Life, Jeevan Bikas Microfinance, Ruru Hydropower, and Mountain Energy Company all saw their shares rise 10% today.
Today on NEPSE, the most Tamakoshi shares worth Rs 627.9 million were bought and traded.
