By executing a financial literacy and orientation programme in Galchhi Rural Municipality of Dhading district, Nabil Bank has signed an agreement with the Village Municipality for the purpose of entrepreneurial development and financial access under the sustainable banking model of the bank.
President Amit Shrestha and Chairman Krishna Hari Shrestha signed the cooperation agreement on Nabil Bank’s behalf. Bagmati Chief Amit Shrestha and Nabil Bank Chairman Krishna Hari Shrestha were also present.
Among the goals of the collaboration are the provision of various enterprise-related initiatives to be carried out at the local level by Rural Municipalities, and the provision of loans to entrepreneurs who wish to start their own businesses in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
Nabil Bank’s Bagmati State Chief, Amit Shrestha, stated that the arrangement would aid in social development by encouraging employment and entrepreneurship in the Galchhi Rural Municipality.
On the same note, Krishna Hari Shrestha, Chairman of Galchhi Rural Municipality, stated his optimism that the sustainable banking provided by Nabil Bank will benefit lower-class farmers and enterprises.
