Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company (Ticker MBJC) IPO Shares Are Finally Listed in NEPSE

Madhya Bhotekoshi Company Limited (ticker symbol MBJC) has listed 6,00,00, unit shares in NEPSE.

The company’s initial public offering (IPO) was completed on October 29 of this year. The general public received 90,00, units worth Rs 90 crore as part of Madhya Bhotekoshi Company Limited’s Initial Public Offering (Ashwin 20-25, 2078). 4 percent of the total offered shares to the general public, i.e. 3,60, units, were set aside for company personnel and 5% for mutual funds, out of the total offered 90,00,000 units. The remaining 81,90,000 units were intended for broad distribution.

The issue received applications from 22,94,496 eligible applicants for a total of 3,19,41,790 units. The issuance was more than 3.9 times oversubscribed. According to the allotment module, a total of 8,19, applicants were randomly assigned 10 units apiece, while the remaining 14,75,496 applicants returned empty-handed. A total of 3,60,000 units were distributed to the company’s employees, with 4,50,000 units going to mutual funds. In total, 95,722 of the 22,41,500 applications were found to ineligible.

For the first transactions, the Open Price Range is Rs. 94.39 to Rs. 283.17. If a transaction in this range is made in the pre-open session, the shares will begin trading in the main trading session on Sunday.
