Khalti has signed a collaboration agreement with Everest Remit, allowing users to receive remittances directly into their Khalti Digital Wallet through the Everest Remit channel.
Khalti, a digital payment service provider firm, has established a cooperation with Everest Remit, a renowned remittance operator, with the goal of enabling consumers to receive overseas money directly into the Khalti app, which will be delivered through Everest.
With the introduction of this service, consumers residing in Nepal will now be able to effortlessly receive money into their Khalti account, which was previously only available through Western Union. They can also use the Khalti app to deposit the money they have received into their bank account and then send it any place in Nepal.
The Khalti KYC (Know Your Customer) must be verified in order to accept remittances via Everest Remit. Those who do not already have a Khalti account can take use of this service by installing the Khalti app and completing the KYC verification process, which takes less than 2 minutes.
