Israel has advertised 1,000 employment openings for Nepali workers. The Department of Foreign Employment issued a formal notification on Tuesday informing the public. The hiring process will be conducted using the G2G approach.
According to the notification, Israel has requested 700 ladies and 300 males as caregivers in the first lot. The monthly salary for selected workers is 5,300 New Israeli Sheqel (NIS), which is comparable to Rs 193,000, according to the Israeli government.
After a long wait, aspiring Nepali workers will receive employment offers in Israel. The payment will be made once every week. It should be recalled that Israel and Nepal signed a labour agreement last year, with Israel agreeing to hire 500 people in the first round.
A selected worker’s contract will be for one year and could be extended up to five years. The worker is responsible for his or her own meals, but his or her employer is responsible for housing.
Any Nepali citizen between the ages of 25 and 45 who is at least 1.5 metres tall, weighs 45 kilogrammes, and has an ANM or CMA (medical) certificate after completing at least ten classes or a plus two degree with at least three months of care-giving training from a government-certified training institute is eligible to apply. Anyone who has previously worked in Israel and whose parents, husbands, or daughters live or work in Israel is advised not to apply for the job.
