NMB Bank has released its third-quarter report for fiscal year 2078/79, revealing a 5.91 percent increase in net profit over the previous period.
It made a net profit of Rs.2.66 Arba in the third quarter, compared to Rs. 2.51 Arba in the same quarter last fiscal year. Similarly, the bank has a distributable profit of Rs.1.32 Arba after statutory adjustments, which it can distribute as a dividend to its shareholders.
In the third quarter, the bank’s client deposits climbed by 12.43 percent to Rs. 1.84 Kharba (compared to the previous year’s end), while loans and advances to customers increased by 17.82 percent to Rs. 1.77 Kharba (compared to the previous year’s end). The net interest income (core business revenue) of the bank has increased.
