In the first seven months of FY 2078/79, exports increased by 88.30 percent


In the first seven months of the current year 202/22, Nepal’s exports grew. According to data released by the Department of Customs today, exports of locally produced commodities accounted 88.30 percent of total exports. During this period, exports were roughly Rs 131 billion, compared to Rs 69.91 billion during the same period the previous year.

The countryR7;s imports increased by 42.78 percent in the first seven months of the current year, according to the Department. During the year, imports totaled Rs 1,147.46 billion, compared to about Rs 803 billion in the previous year.
