In the first five months of the current fiscal year, Chitwan National Park has received more than 51,000 tourists.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, the CNPR17;s information and assistant conservation officer, stated that 51,304 people visited the national park during this time period. According to him, the biggest number of visitors was registered during the months of mid-October and the beginning of November. From mid-October to mid-November, a total of 21,506 visitors came to the national park, followed by 19,580 visitors from mid-November to mid-December.
Similarly, 5,835 visitors visited CNP during the month of mid-September to mid-October, 2,977 during the month of mid-August to September, and 1906 during the month of mid-July to mid-August.
