In the first five months of the current fiscal year, Chitwan National Park has received more than 51,000 tourists.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, the CNP’s information and assistant conservation officer, stated that 51,304 people visited the national park during this time period. According to him, the biggest number of visitors was registered during the months of mid-October and the beginning of November. From mid-October to mid-November, a total of 21,506 visitors came to the national park, followed by 19,580 visitors from mid-November to mid-December.
According to Tiwari, the CNP has so far collected Rs 12,995,150 in revenue from visitors who have paid the entry fee.
