The NEPSE index finished the day at 2,628.37, down only 1.64 points from the previous day’s closing price. Yesterday, the index had dropped by 21.48 points.
The total number of shares traded was 6,447,449, with a total value of Rs. 3.089 Arba in the entire turnover amount. This represents a decrease from the previous day’s turnover of Rs. 4.008 Arba. A total of 41,585 trades took place involving 225 scrips.
ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) had the highest turnover with Rs. 16.02 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 890 per share. It was the most profitable company with a turnover of Rs. 16.02 crores. The most actively traded units were those of the Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1).
In terms of technical gains, Nyadi Hydropower Company Limited (NYADI) and Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) both achieved 10 percent gains and crossed the positive circuit breaker today. In the meantime, Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ILBS) suffered the greatest loss, falling 4.77 percent.
