Gold Prices Drop by Rs. 300 Per Tola: Fine Gold Now Priced at Rs. 152,000 in Nepal


The fine gold market in Nepal has seen a notable decrease, with prices falling by Rs. 300 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price of fine gold stands at Rs. 152,000 per tola. This marks a drop from the previous rate of Rs. 152,300 per tola.

Tejabi gold has also experienced a price reduction, now priced at Rs. 151,300 per tola, down by Rs. 300 from the last closing rate of Rs. 151,600 per tola.

This decrease follows the recent peak in gold prices on August 21, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 153,000 per tola.

In addition to gold, silver prices have also declined. Silver is currently priced at Rs. 1,775 per tola, a decrease of Rs. 20 from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 1,795 per tola.

The decline in gold and silver prices is being observed both domestically and internationally. On the global market, gold is trading at $2,495.40 per ounce, while silver has dropped to $28.39 per ounce.
