At the Finance Ministry, the leaders of Nepal’s Capital Market Strengthening Comprehensive Task Force (Pujibazar Sudridhikaran Sanyukta Karyadal), a joint task force of all investor organisations, met with Nepal’s Finance Minister, Janardan Sharma.
According to the joint task force’s press release, they had a positive conversation with the minister about the current state of Nepal’s capital market, the selection of heads of NEPSE and SEBON, the implementation of the 58-point agreement, and the correction of different market inefficiencies.
Finance Minister Sharma informed the joint task group of his commitment to the stock market’s long-term development. Following the appointment of the leaders of the exchange and regulator, Sharma assured the task force that their demands would be met quickly.
