Exports increase five percent in first five months of current FY


: Exports have increased five percent in the first five months of current fiscal year 2020/21 as compared to the previous fy 2019/20 data, Department of Customs showed.

Export of Rs 50.5 billion have been made in this period, which is a 5.12 percent increase as compared to the previous FY’s  Rs 47.61 billion.

Similarly, import has decreased by approximately 10 percent as opposed to the same period in the previous FY.
