Every province will receive a huge model agricultural production centre, according to a recent announcement by the administration.
Finance Minister Sharma announced that the modern model agricultural centre will be established under the Prime Minister’s Agriculture Modernization Project through the Financial Ordinance Replacement Bill, which was tabled in the Parliament on Friday. The modern model agricultural centre will be able to handle agricultural materials, the use of technology and knowledge, training, transportation, and market management all in one location.
In accordance with the bill, “a large model agricultural centre will be established in each province to accelerate agricultural production by making good use of the land, climate, and market available for agricultural production in order to motivate those involved in the agricultural sector,” according to the bill.
Finance Minister Janardan Sharma stated that a mechanism comprised of representatives from the government, private sector, cooperatives, and agricultural cooperation groups would be established to operate such a large-scale agricultural production centre, which would be established in each province, according to the minister.
Dr. Krishna Prasad Acharya, the Agriculture Secretary, stated that the programme was in accordance with the government’s aim of practising good agriculture in every province in order to produce model agricultural work.
Also, he stated that the new programme will have no impact on the Prime Minister’s Agriculture Modernization Project or any of the other programmes of the government.
