The Laxmi Bank Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on December 23, 2021, in Kathmandu, Nepal, and was the bank’s 21st AGM. During the AGM, the Board of Directors accepted the proposal for the distribution of 8 percent Bonus Shares and a 3.5 percent cash dividend on the Bank’s current paid-up capital. With this, the bank’s paid-up capital will increase to NPR 11.55 billion after the bonus shares have been distributed in accordance with the AGM’s approval.
The Directors’ Report and the Financial Statements for the financial year 2020/21 (2077/78) were examined and accepted at the AGM on April 16, 2019.
Laxmi Bank ended the financial year 2020/21 with a balance sheet of NPR 152 billion and a net profit of NPR 1.57 billion, bringing its total assets to NPR 152 billion. All of the important financial indicators are within acceptable limits in terms of prudential and regulatory standards.
