    Daraz’s 11.11 breaks a new sales record by serving 7 lakh Nepalis in 24 hours, setting a new milestone for the company.

    Nepal’s premier online marketplace Daraz achieved a new sales record during the 4th edition of its 11.11 scheme, servicing 7 lakh Nepali online consumers the platform within 24 hours, setting a new record for sales volume.

    A statement made by Daraz stated that the company’s one-day “11.11” sale generated more than Rs 360 million in sales, making it Nepal’s largest one-day shopping event in the country’s history.

    Product sales totaling Rs 60 million were completed within the first hour of the campaign’s introduction, representing a 130% increase over the previous year’s first-hour sales total. According to Daraz, more than half of all sales were made online using wallets and bank cards during the campaign, exceeding the previous year’s record by a significant margin.

    The company’s continued efforts to uplift businesses, particularly small and medium-sized organizations (SMEs), over the last one and a half years have resulted in 55 percent of the thousands of businesses that produced revenue during 11.11 signing up to Daraz during the pandemic.

It demonstrates the strength of our marketplace, where customers place their trust in the quality of the products they purchase Daraz, and it demonstrates how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can unlock the online potential of their businesses “Bjarke Mikkelsen, CEO and Founder of Daraz Group, made the following statement.

    As of 8 a.m. the same day that the firm delivered its first 11.11 order, the company is now completely focused on delivering every single order across 47 locations, with more than 1,000 more delivery riders employed specifically for the campaign, in addition to its seven logistical partners.

    Lino Ahlering, the managing director of Daraz Nepal, expressed his delight at the sale’s success by saying, “We are overjoyed to have reached this significant milestone with all of our partners. I’d also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our consumers for their unwavering confidence and support. 11.11 is the culmination of a year’s worth of effort, and it is a source of great satisfaction for all of us to have hosted such a world-record-breaking campaign.”
