Coca-Cola begins on-ground activation of the “Dhanyabad” campaign to support Frontline Heroes.

Coca-Cola, Nepal’s most popular beverage, just a Dashain campaign with the subject of expressing thanks to family and friends, which is currently running. The campaign, titled “Dhanyabad,” intends to motivate and urge customers to express gratitude to those who have been there them during the most difficult times of the pandemic by them a refreshing bottle of Coca-Cola to drink.

Coca-Cola has begun its on-ground activation as part of the Dashain campaign, which is dedicated to frontline warriors from various fields such as the healthcare sector, traffic police, and various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) who have played critical roles in the fight against Covid-19 in Nepal. Taking of this chance to express Coca-“Dhanyabad” Cola’s to as many frontline heroes as possible in recognition of their dedication and contribution to the communities is the intention. Coca-Cola will engage with frontline heroes and provide “Dhanyabad” gift boxes, which will feature customised Coca-Cola bottles with people’ names printed on the new Dhanyabad label, as well as a pair of Coca-Cola contour glasses, to express gratitude.

Sneha’s Care and Heartbeat hosted a successful first day of activation at four non-governmental organisations (NGOs), the National Innovation Center led by Mr. Mahabir Pun, Hami Nepal led by the youth of the country, animal rescue, and a shelter at Sneha’s Care. Coca-Cola will be visiting more organisations in the coming days, including hospitals and the Kathmandu Traffic Police, in order to express its thanks to the country’s frontline heroes even further.

Sudan Gurung, the President of Hami Nepal, gave his thoughts. “Even though the situation demanded that we remain indoors the time being, our team of youths valiantly volunteered to assist in any manner they could. Through fundraising efforts, we were able to help hospitals and individuals in need with hospital beds, oxygen tanks, and concentrators during the pandemic period. Having our efforts recognised and rewarded by Coca-Cola Nepal has given myself and the rest of the Hami Nepal team even more confidence and motivation to continue our journey.”

Mr. Adarsh Avasthi, Country Director of Coca-Cola in Nepal, commented on the initiative, saying, “Essential and frontline workers have played a very important role in our communities during the past one and a half years of the epidemic.” They have worked tirelessly to preserve lives and maintain normalcy in the face of adversity. We appreciate and salute their unselfish efforts, and we express our gratitude to them their brave actions throughout the pandemic. Our on-the-ground activation is entirely devoted to expressing our heartfelt gratitude to them.”
