Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) and Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) report more losses in Mangsir than the previous year.

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme, has published its monthly report for the month Mangsir, 2078. The fund is managed by Citizens Mutual Fund Management Company. Founded by CBIL Capital, the mutual fund is the company’s first mutual fund. Citizens Bank International serves as the fund sponsor, with CBIL Capital serving as the scheme’s manager.

It was reported that an equity mutual fund showed a decrease in Net Assets Value (NAV) Rs 10.12 from Rs 11.19 in the most recent quarter. After starting with a sum Rs 82 crore, the has invested Rs 53.76 crore in the shares of publicly traded firms and Rs 9.75 lakhs in non-publicly traded companies so far.

This scheme has invested Rs 20.07 crore in fixed-income assets and currently has a cash balance Rs 8.49 crore in the bank.

It has reported a net loss Rs 9.74 crores until the end of Mangsir’s fiscal year. In the preceding month, the fund had declared a net loss of Rs. 97.1 lakhs on its balance sheet.

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is the second mutual fund scheme launched by CBIL Capital Limited. It is a closed-end fund with a maturity seven years. The NAV report for the month of Mangsir, 2077, has been provided by the freshly launched program, which was recently launched. Citizens Bank International serves as the fund sponsor, with CBIL Capital serving as the scheme’s manager.

Per the report, a decrease in the mutual fund’s Net Assets Value (NAV) has been documented since the beginning the month of Mangsir, down from Rs 12.28 in the month before that. After starting with a capital of Rs 1 Arba, the scheme has amassed a total of Rs 40.29 crore in shares of publicly traded businesses and Rs 6.7 lakhs in non-listed companies.

This scheme has invested Rs 10.11 crore in fixed-income assets and currently has a cash balance Rs 11.04 crore in the bank.

Since the beginning Mangsir, the company has claimed a financial loss of Rs 6.05 crore. This was the second consecutive month in which it reported a net loss of Rs 5310 lakhs.
