Service seekers can get passports by filling up an online form, according to the office.
Khemraj Poudel, the DAO’s Public Information Officer, stated that an online application was required to obtain a passport. He stated that the form can be filled out on a mobile device or a PC from anywhere.
After filling out all of the required information online, the applicant must visit the office for a photograph. Poudel kept us up to date.
He stated that an arrangement will be made to fill up an online form at DAO’s help desk.
On Wednesday alone, Chief District Officer Ashman Tamang reported that 14 online forms for passport service were filled out and filed.
According to CDO Tamang, the e-passport would be ready two weeks after the paperwork is submitted online.
