Direct flights between Pokhara and Nepalgunj will be offered by Buddha Air, a private sector-led aviation service provider.
Over the course of a week, three fights will be held on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Buddha Air intends to steadily increase the number of flights to meet passenger demand.
According to Rupesh Joshi, Market Director of Buddha Air, the flying services from tourism city Pokhara to Nepalgunj would benefit the residents of both cities and help to the promotion of tourism potential. He expressed confidence that the flight service would assist boost tourism to the Bardiya National Park and Karnali Chisapani, both of which are close to Nepalgunj.
With the operation of two-way flights, Nepalgunj people could also experience the beautiful splendor of lakes and mountains in the panoramic city of Pokhara. According to a news release released by Buddha Air, the air service will draw tourists from Indian cities such as Lakhnow and Kanpur, which are close to Nepalgunj.
