Bank of Kathmandu’s offers contactless card


Contactless Visa Debit Card has been launched by Bank of Kathmandu Limited.

The card features an AFC-enabled tap function on Near-Field Communication (NFC), allowing customers to make payments at POS terminals, to the bank.

Payments can be made using technology by merely tapping the POS system from a short distance without having to insert a card. Customers will be able to preserve personal distance when paying with this contactless card for the current COVID-19 risk reduction, to the bank.

system can currently handle transactions of up to Rs 2,000, to the bank.

Customers can access banking through 90 branch locations, 78 ATMs, and 10 extension counters operated by Bank of Kathmandu.
