AGMs are being called by Guheswori Merchant Banking (GMFIL) and Shree Investment and Finance (SIFC) to support their respective dividends.

On the Poush, 2078, Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance Limited (GMFIL) will hold its 20th Annual Meeting. The conference would begin at 11 .m. that day in Harihar Bhawan, Lalitpur.

The AGM will approve a 10.5263 percent dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, other items on the agenda. The board of directors voted to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 86.40 crores at their 233rd meeting on Mangsir 15. There has been a proposal for a 10% bonus share worth Rs 8.64 crores and a 0.5263 percent cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs 45.47 lakhs.

The book will be closed on Poush 22. As a result, shareholders who held prior to that date are entitled to the dividend payment and are welcome to attend the AGM.

 

Similarly, the Shree Investment and Finance Company Limited (SIFC) has scheduled its 27th for the of Poush, 2078. The meeting would begin at 11 a.m. that day at the company’s registered office in Dillibazar, Kathmandu.

The AGM will approve an 11 percent dividend for fiscal year 2077/78, other items on the agenda. The board of directors voted to disburse the dividend on the paid-up capital at their 310th meeting on Mangsir 14. It has been suggested to issue 7.7% bonus worth Rs. 6.85 crores and a 3.3 percent cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 2.93 crore.

In addition, the promoters will elect a board member and an independent director at the AGM. A resolution to raise the company’s existing authorized capital and convert the shareholding ratio to 51:49 is also on the agenda.

The book will be closed on Poush 22. As a result, shareholders who held prior to that date are entitled to the dividend payment and are welcome to attend the AGM.
